Tracy Powers - Owner/Pilates and Gyrotonic teacher
Originally from Las Vegas, NV - Tracy was interested in movement at a very young age. Her desire to move attracted her to dance. She received her B.A. in dance from the University of Colorado, Boulder where she also studied English Literature. Upon completion she moved to Boston where she continued to dance and begin her Pilates certification program. She trained through Power Pilates and immediately began teaching at Boston Bodyworks under Kathy Van Patten. Tracy is certified to teach Gyrotonic level 1, as well as Gyrokinesis. She has also taken Juliu Horvath's Breathing Workshop, Paul Horvath's course on Therapeutic Applications of Gyrotonic: the pelvic girdle and has begun her Level 2 Gyrotonic training. In additon to her original certification in Pilates, Tracy worked at a Stott studio, has done continuing education through Polestar and the Boulder method to name a few. She prides herself on working with many experts/master trainers in both Pilates and Gyrotonic whenever possible.
Tracy has been inspired by her clients and their ability to heal and transform through movement. Their progress is quite an accomplishment! She has worked with a range of clients including those recovering from injury, pre and post knee and hip replacement, and women who are pregnant and post-partum (including herself). Tracy is enjoying the good life in Park City with her husband Nathan, a very talented chef, and their 2 young daughters.
Ann Rauscher - Pilates Instructor/Physical Therapist
Ann grew up on a Dairy Farm in Indiana and still loves to visit her family there but has called Park City home for 5 years. At Purdue university she was a memver of Alpha Chi Omgea and the Purdue Golduster Dance Team. After a brief stint in the Windy City (Chicago), she headed to Park City for a little hiatus. In classic Park City fashion, Ann arrived in Utah in 2009 and has yet to make the 'return trip". While completeing her education to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah, she took on clinical internships including pediatric, acute care, neuro rehab (stroke, spinal cord, brain injury), cancer specialties, and orthopedics. In addition, she had the privilege on caring for her community members with disabilities and injuries in Kajuki, Kenya during a service trip with Youthlinc. She discovered Pilates through the complimentary therapies introduced by her professors at the University and later used Pilates as a part of her own healing. In her leisure time, Ann enjoys downhill skiing, snowshoeing, camping, hiking, discovering new forms of movement through various forms of exercise, biking, and trail running in Park City.
Laura Nice - Pilates Instructor/Physical Therapist
Laura was bornand raised in Salt Lake City, UT. She discovered her passion for movement at an early age as a gymnast. Her life long passion for movement has taken many forms since then, including climbing, snowboarding, running, and yoga. She graduated college from with a degree in recreation and moved to Germany to work in the Bavarian Alps. She returned back to the US to make Bend, Oregon her home. After gaining experience as a physical therapy aide, she decided to return home to attend the physical therapy program at the University of Utah and has been here ever since. She graduated with a Doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2013 and simultaneously completed her Polestar Pilates training. She is a PMA-certified Pilates instructor and a registered yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance. With this background she employs a holistic approach that emphasizes movement analysis and fine-tuning movement patterns to maximize efficiency in function and sport. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and being active outside biking, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing.
Dani LoFeudo - Pilates Instructor/ Yoga and meditation teacher
Originally from Brazil, Dani moved to Park City in 1997 via San Diego and never looked back. She has a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Sociology and an M.A. in Public Administration with emphasis in HR and Leadership. From a very young age, Dani's mom realized the only way to keep her "little bundle of energy out of trouble was to keep her body active and her mind engaged. Dance, swimming, surfing, running, playing volleyball and writing were some of her passions growing uup. It was a matter of time until her active lifestyle took a toll on her body. She found great relief in Pilates and decided to take the plunge to pursue and share an in-depth knowlege of the work. She completed the Comprehensive Pilates Certification program through Balanced Body and teaches mat and equipment classes. Dani is a PMA member and plans on continuing her education through Balanced Body, Polestar, Stott and the Pilates Method Alliance, attending conferences and workshops. Her classes focus on catering to indiviual needs regardless of their level of fitness while utilizing breath and mind-body engagement.
While not teaching Dani enjoys dancing, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, yoga, reading, movies, meditation and volunteering around the community
Rebeakh Fernandez - Pilates Instructor
Rebekah has always had a love for dance. At a very young age and on through college, she danced on various dance teams and for numerous organizations. Following college, Rebekah began her career path earning a Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Along her journey, she satisfied her passion for dance as an NFL cheerleader, cheering for the San Diego Chargers for 2 years, followed by the San Francisco 49ers for an additional 2 years. Rebekah left the NFL to start a family. For years she missed her love for dance as she stayed home raising her three angels. Following her three pregnancies, Rebekah had developed diastases. She endured poor posture, severe back pain, and had a high risk for a hernia due to the separation of the abdominal wall. Pilates had been recommended to help repair her abdominal muscles. Rebekah began taking the recommended classes of three Pilates classes a week. As an experienced dancer,Rebekah quickly fell in love with Pilates and increased her sessions to 6 days a week. Within two months her abdominal wall was closed and she no longer experienced back pain. After a year of practicing Pilates, Rebekah became a Certified Pilates Instructor and taught for a well-respected Pilates studio in Orange County, CA. Rebekah has since relocated to Park City, UT where she is looking to bring here love of Pilates to those in the greater Salt Lake and Park City area.
